Barbie Party

Party table
This was a beautiful party designed for Tori on her 6th birthday with everything Barbie!

The party was held at the Box Factory Community centre in a large upstairs room which was perfect for all the very energetic kids that came to the party!

Girls doing what girls do!
Invitation

As you walked through the door it was dressed with hot pink fabric to look like curtains, with a sign above saying welcome to Tori's Barbie Dream party.
In the centre of the room was a pink catwalk with a zebra print backdrop for the kids to dress up and do a fashion show. We provided clothes, heels, dress jewelry and accessories for them all to try on, as well as lots of Barbies for them to dress up!

The party table was decorated with zebra print material, pink bows and a themed banner hanging overhead.

We made a Barbie cake with a full cake skirt and lots of little black bow pink cupcakes, we also made some Barbie cupcake tags that looked cute.

In the corner we had a table with stools and mirrors set up an a table full of make up and pink, black & white pompoms above for decoration.

We made especially for the birthday girl a zebra & pink spot clutch purse which we used to play 'pass the purse' with lollies inside.

The thank you gifts were pink paper bags, inside was a clear toiletries bag containing some hair ties, lip gloss, and brush. There was also lollies, Barbie tattoo, Barbie nail decals, stickers and of course chocolate!

This party was a hit and would be the envy of any little girl, including mine!

Cheeky Monkey Party

Party table

This fantastic Cheeky Monkey party was created for a special little boy, Aiden on his 1st birthday!

Indoor Jungle - pre party

Cute cupcakes

The party took place indoors and we set up several rooms in the same theme.
We used streamers in different shades of green and strung them crossing over each other throughout the house with cut out jungle leaves attached which looked fantastic!
We also used a number of real palm trees through the house and in the outside courtyard to really give it a jungle feel.
Party invitation - One option

There were monkeys hanging from the vines, toy monkeys on the tables with jungle leaf placemats made from felt.

The cake was a big #1 with a monkey and banana candy on top and the birthday boys high chair was decorated in 1st birthday flags.

Food for the party was normal party food such as sausage rolls, frankfurts, sandwiches, adorable little bite size cupcakes and peanuts in cane baskets in the shell.

The thank you gift was a monkey gift bag containing 'monkeys in a barrel' game, lollies, bubble and party blower.

This was a great party that everyone loved.

Seating area for guests
We made little 'money bags' out of calico, check print fabric and rope ties, these could easily be filled with lots of goodies to take home, however we did not need thank you gifts for this party.

Getting into the spirit

There was a bar set up with signs all around including wanted posters of the party girl, as well as boot glasses filled with peanuts in the shells, horse shoes and rubber snakes.

The party girl
We hung handmade bunting from the marquee and directional signage all around in theme.

Throughout the night we took a wanted poster prop around taking pictures of all the guests for the party girl to keep as a memento of the special night!
